
Apparently, the guy thinks the 1770 map of Korea pictured on the left makes everything "clear at last."
Really? An map that shows Usando (于山島 - 우산도) as the largest island in the Sea of Japan makes it "clear at last"?

Maybe you should not focus too much on the "Usando" name as it is not 100% clear that the name belongs to "Jukdo". There is only one map showing a "Ulleungdo/Usanguk" label and that doesn`t prove anything either.
ReplyDeleteUsando/Dokdo is pretty much far away from Ulleungdo. Looks like more than 2,2 km.

ReplyDeleteMany of your HERE mentioned points are corrected. First: Dokdo/Usando lies South East of Ulleungdo. Second: The distance is clearly greater than 2.2 km.
