Below is a page from a 1904 Japanese text entitled "The History of Joseon Civilization" (朝鮮開化史 - 조선개화사), which was written by Tsuneya Seifuku (恒屋盛服). The page below is from the 3rd edition.
I noticed that it gives the eastern longitude of Joseon as 130° 35", which would be near but not including Ulleungdo, but I will not write anymore about this since I do not read Japanese.
I do not know if something has been posted about this before, but if it has, just let me know.
