Which country will China try to occupy first, Taiwan or North Korea?I apologize for the question being unrelated to the Takeshima-Dokdo dispute, but I have my reasons for asking it.
- Taiwan
- North Korea
- Neither
- Both at the same time

Taiwan, which they swore as one of their own.
ReplyDeleteI hope not, but I think it's Taiwan. China needs North Korea as a buffer zone from free countries.
ReplyDeleteAs far as i know there increase the risk of war between China and Vietnam more than N.Korea or Taiwan

Neither. Even if China got more arm, it may not dominate by using forces. Let me explain why.
ReplyDeleteNorth Korea: China want to keep chosun peninsula divided. North Korea is buffer zone for them.
Taiwan: US and other Asian nations do not want China to go out and expand sphere of influence toward the seas. US will continue to help Taiwan either by joint training or selling weapons.
Other countries in danger: Philippine and Vietnam are also in danger. But US won't ignore them. China won't dominate by force. It make Chinese image more terrible.
So, I think Chinese strategy is indirect invasion, such as sending immigrants, buy foreign assets. When Chinese people become dominant residents in invading area, they would declare independence. But this may take decades.
