"Korea bans entry of Japanese reps on Ulleung foray"

Korea's Joongang Daily is reporting HERE that Seoul has informed Tokyo that it would ban from entering Korea four Japanese lawmakers planning to visit the Korean island of Ulleungdo and the Dokdo Museum there.

The Korean government said that it was banning the lawmakers because it would be "difficult to guarantee their safety and out of consideration of the influence on bilateral relations." However, I think the real reason for banning the Japanese is that the Korean government knows that the Dokdo Museum is a sham promoting distorted history to which the Korean government does not want the Japanese drawing international attention.

Just look at this site. and think about it deeply.

actually, the Liberal Democratic Party's coalition companion know dokdo is korea's.
but, they still haven't recoverd from imperialism.
    what a pity...

but as you know, some conscientious japanese scholars protest that dokdo is exactly korea's.
remove prejudice. just try to find truth.
we feel confident. we know that we have lots of evidence which is disadvantageous for japan.
    because we have truth.

but don't say that i don't like japanese. i love all of japan culture. i have 10 japanase friend.
so.. i just .. want to fix this problem quickly.. for my friends..

  2. Sil,

I like Korea and have Korean friends, but Korea simply has no historical claim on Dokdo. Most of the historical claims you may have read about were fabricated in the 1940's and 50's in an attempt to justify Korea's illegal occupation of Takeshima (Dokdo).

Give me any one example of why you think Korea has historic claim to Dokdo, and I will tell you why it is untrue.

  3. Will it be provoked that members of the Diet go to Ulleungdo? They only observe the museum. They go to advertise it when "Dokdo is a territory of Japan", and there is not ゜.
It is clear that the opinion is different from Japan in Korea about the reversion of the island. The government of two countries should talk if so.

  5. ...I don't know why we should think about Dokdo.. It is a very simple thing. I will give you an example to understand easily.

If you bought an ipad for your son. So, your son enjoyed, however, his classmate envied his ipad. So, classmate bullied and hit your son. So, finally classmate took son's ipad. After you knew about that, you talked to classmate's parents. So, son's classmate apologized to you and your son, and your son got back the ipad. However, around 60 days later, the classmate demanded to get back son's ipad because the ipad was his stuff. Moreover, he insisted he already installed some applications and he knew what apps in the ipad. also, he brought a forged receipt. He already lied to his classmates he lost his ipad, and he guess your son stole his ipad. So, he claimed the ipad.

Do you understand about the situation? I don't know why Japanese spread false information.(Not every Japanese) I guess some Japanese politicians do that and they try to distort the fact and put the false report to their textbook for elementary students to high students, and they published a book a few days ago. However, some honest Japanese say the Dokdo is a Korean island. And every Korean say the island is Korea's.

Why did Korea ban entry of Japanese reps? Because Korea already knew their plot. You can understand if you know Japanese history in Korea, and then what they did. I mean every Japanese does not lie. They just believe wrong fact from something. Some japanese generalize as fact. You know Japan had heavy damages and gave damages to the earth and Korea. Korea voluntarily helped many time in many ways. However, they are claiming to get Dokdo. Is this humanly a returnable favor in virtue? So hopefully, think and accept the true carefully from media.

  6. Wow. What a biased view on something you obviously have yet to learn more about. I recommend you to read up on the long and twisted historical relationship that Korea and Japan share. I have heard that Japan is also trying to claim that an island of the Chinese is theirs. Seeing any patterns here?

  8. Hi,
It may be not directly related to the debate,
but I have something to say to koreans

I think the koreans should not do such rude demonstrations against any countries. The national frag is a symbol of the country. I was disgusted when I watch the scene that korean people burned our flags and the photographs of the lawmakers.
For example, what would you do if Japanese demonstrators burn your flags? then the Japanese Embassy in seoul could be left unharmed...?

we have a law against foreign-flag-burning and cant deny entry to japan to anyone for no reason.
The Japanese lowmakers said they had never been asked the purpose of their visit from korean authorities. This is, they were banned entry to korea for no reasons.
Do you know that some Korean activists come to Japan on every Takesima's Day and demonstrate
to accuse Japan in front of the prefectural government of Tottori,of which Takesima is a part.
Why Japan and Korea cant have a decent relationship each other under the same conditions?

  9. If you say all of Korea's allegations are fabricated without any proof, you are basically saying what we say is all lies and don't matter. Well then, Dokdo is occupied by Koreans now, and we have no intention of moving out.. Unless you want to start another war and kill more innocent people(like you did in WW2), please calm down and deal with it, instead of bitching about it. Thank you!
